Why it's different

The photo everyone's going to ask about.

Most family photos are about the card. This one's about the moment.

Everyone mid-laugh, confetti in the air, and the toddler who refuses to stop throwing it back at me. It's one look and one big burst of chaos, and it's the most fun ten minutes I shoot all year.

You bring the people. I bring the confetti, and I handle the cleanup.

How it works

From booking to your New Year's post.

There's one confetti day this year, and that's it.

Dress bold

See what to wear below. Solids make the confetti pop.

Sunday, December 27: ten minutes of confetti

Arrive ten minutes early. We start dry, then we pop.

Wednesday, December 30: photos in your inbox

Three finished favorites, or the whole gallery if you add it.

New Year's Eve: post it

Your "hello 2027" photo is ready before the countdown.

What to wear

Dress like it's a party.

Solids, so the confetti pops.

Black, cream, camel, deep green, or one bold color. A solid background makes every piece of confetti show up.

A little sparkle is welcome.

Sequins, satin, metallic shoes, a party hat if that's your family. This is the one session where more is more.

Skip busy prints.

Try the squint test: if you can still see the pattern when you squint, it'll fight with the confetti.

Asked often

Questions.

How messy is it?

Very, and that's the point. I handle all the cleanup. You just walk out with confetti in your hair.

Is it okay for babies and toddlers?

Yes, kids are the best part. The confetti is big paper pieces, so just keep an eye on little ones who like to taste things.

Can I use these for a holiday card?

These are made for New Year's and arrive December 30. If you need a card photo, my Dec 12 studio minis deliver in three days.

How many people can come?

Up to six fit in a ten-minute spot, kids included. Seven or more? Email me and I'll book you a double spot: twenty minutes and six finished images for $590, so nobody gets rushed.

What if we're running late?

Sessions are ten minutes and run back to back, so please arrive ten minutes early. Late arrivals mean a shorter session.

Can I reschedule?

Since there's one confetti day, I can move you to any open time on December 27. If you can't make it at all, your payment becomes a credit toward any session in the next year.

Where is the studio?

In Los Angeles. The exact address and parking details come in your confirmation email.
