Lista Family Photos
Lista Family Photos is a one-person family photography business in Los Angeles, run by me, Katie Jackson. This policy explains what information I collect through my websites and booking pages, how I use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email me at katie@listafamilyphotos.com.
When you book a session, send an inquiry, join my email list, or order prints, you may give me your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, your family members' names and ages, your due date, session preferences, and anything else you write in a form or email.
Payments are handled by the payment processors built into my booking, invoicing, and gallery services. I never see or store your full card number.
When you visit my site, my site and the services it uses may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the buttons you click, and the website that sent you. This happens through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
My site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. Meta and other third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from my website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and to target ads.
For me, this means two things: I can show my ads to people who are likely to be interested, and I can see which ads actually lead to bookings. When you book through my scheduling page, details such as your email address or phone number may be sent to Meta in a scrambled (hashed) form so a booking can be matched to an ad.
You can opt out of this kind of advertising:
I don't sell your name, email, phone number, or other contact information to anyone, and I don't share it for other businesses' marketing. I share information only with the services that help me run my business, and only as much as they need:
I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or someone's safety.
How I may use the images from your session is covered by your session agreement. If you'd rather I not share any images of your family on my website or social media, tell me and I'll honor that.
My services are for parents and guardians. This site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from children online. Information about your children, like their names and ages, comes from you, and I use it only to plan and deliver your session.
I keep booking and payment records as long as I need them for your sessions and for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask me to delete your information at any time, and I will, unless I'm legally required to keep it.
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common standard for responding to it, so my site doesn't currently change how it works when it receives one. You can still use the opt-outs in section 3.
I use established service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or online service is completely secure, though, so I can't guarantee it.
If I update this policy, I'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
